Kaitlyn Rodley

Kaitlyn Rodley is a Christchurch-based singer-songwriter and vocal tutor working within the indie acoustic/Christian genre. Her music is marked by honest lyricism and expressive vocals, drawing inspiration from artists like Brooke Fraser.

Kaitlyn brings a diverse skill set to her teaching, with strengths in harmonising, musicality, songwriting, improvisation, and vocal riffing. She is passionate about helping students grow in both confidence and creativity in their singing. 

In 2025, Kaitlyn was awarded the inaugural Bronwyn Bijl Scholarship from The Piano, which enabled her to perform her debut headline concert in their concert hall. She was also the winner of the Christchurch singing competition Platform, performed at Festival One this year, and has featured in several music video projects and songs including “The Mundane” with the Home Sweet Homies.
